Hey Product Hunt. I’m Brandon, founder of Moozix. I built Moozix because a lot of musicians use online mastering tools hoping it will make their song sound better. It will to an extent, but so many problems in how a song sounds and translates starts with the mix levels, tonal balance, and dynamics of each individual instrument. Most automated audio tools start at the end of the process: upload a stereo file, apply mastering, and hope the mix was already good enough. But for home studio musicians, producers, and artists working from stems, the bigger problem usually happens earlier. Vocals are too dry, drums are uneven, bass is fighting the mix, guitars are harsh, or the whole track just does not feel glued together yet. Moozix is designed to help with that middle step. You can upload stems, a rough mix, or a full song file, and Moozix creates a mix and master preview so you can hear the track with more balance, polish, loudness, stereo width, EQ shaping, and dynamics control. It does this by analyzing the individual components of a reference song (you can create your own custom reference styles), then analyzing your song and computing the differences between the two and the required changes to make your song's tonal balance and dynamics match the reference on a stem-by-stem basis and then for the mix as a whole. My goal is not to replace musicians, producers, or engineers - a human being will always be able to contribute more creatively than a machine ever could. The purpose is to give independent artists a faster way to get closer to the sound they hear in their head, especially when they are recording and producing at home. In fact, one of the key features I wanted to include in Moozix is the ability to export the individual unmastered processed stems of the mix so you can pull them back into your DAW and keep working.
