Moodshop — short pieces of writing, built to make you feel one specific thing. Most content today is written to be skimmed: optimized for headlines, keywords, and algorithms, not for how it actually makes you feel. Moodshop takes the opposite approach. It's a tiny, no-login website where every piece of writing has exactly one job — to make the reader feel a specific emotion. There are eight pieces to choose from: Calm, Nostalgia, Happiness, Hope, Rage, Hurt, Sorrow, and Grief.

I built Moodshop because I kept noticing that most "content" is optimized to be skimmed, not felt. So I flipped it: instead of writing about a topic, each piece is written to make you feel one specific emotion — Calm, Nostalgia, Happiness, Hope, Rage, Hurt, Sorrow, Grief — as a short, 150–300 word piece in second-person/letter form.
A few things that make it different from a typical "buy this article" site:
No login, no account, no database. Payment happens on Buy Me a Coffee, and BMC's post-purchase redirect is the delivery — you pay, you land on your piece.
The pieces aren't indexed or linked anywhere except through that redirect — so what you get feels like it was actually unlocked, not just another public URL.
The unlock counter on the homepage is real, not decorative — it only increments when someone actually loads a piece.
It's intentionally tiny — no accounts, no feeds, no algorithm. Just: pick a feeling, pay a couple bucks, read something built to make you feel exactly that.
