Hey Product Hunt, I am the Founder of Monona coach Diego. We built Monona Coach since when I was little, I wanted a pretty and highly efficient jump shot that gives me buckets. I watched tons of YouTube slow motion videos from some of the best shooters in the league such as Steph, Kobe, and Klay to learn their forms. I practiced perfecting my shooting form along in local outdoor court without any feedback from anyone. It was fun but inefficient. Now with the advancement of computer vision and AI, I thought: what can be done beyond basic shot trackers like HomeCourt and generic shooting feedback from LLMs? What if I just build an AI basketball shooting coach that automatically compare your shooting form against NBA players, gives actionable advice, and drills to fix your form? So here we are.
Monona Coach is actively seeking players, coaches, trainers, basketball lovers, or anyone who wants to become a better shooter. We would love feedback from the great community and keep iterating on it, especially on problems you have while shooting a basketball (in games, pick ups, shoot around, mid-range, pull up jumpers, 3pt, free throw, guide hand, etc) Thank you!

the side-by-side mechanic comparison with pro-level forms is genuinely useful, makes the fix feel less abstract and more like a clear checklist.
Tried it on a few clips from my last pickup game and the elbow path feedback actually nailed a hitch I didn't even realize I had. The pro comparison overlay is super helpful for spotting small timing gaps.

@burakuq4i thank you! While you are in a pickup game, do you have any specific issues about shooting that you would like to work on? For me it's always consistency so I've been trying to fix that.
