Monivo replaces your alarm sound with a 15-second voice from someone you love. Your partner records "good morning" and that's what wakes you tomorrow. • Ask for the voice you need: "I can't be late tomorrow — be firm with me" • No friends here yet? Global Voices brings a stranger's greeting, matched by time of day • On iOS it's built on AlarmKit, so it rings even when the app is closed or on silent • Keep the voices you love and pin them to any alarm Free, on iOS and Android, in 12 languages.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I hate waking up to a beep. It's the first sound of the day and it's always been an alarm bell — something designed to be unpleasant enough that you get up.
So Monivo swaps it for a person. Someone records a 15-second voice for you, and that's your alarm tomorrow. "Good morning." "You said you can't be late today." Waking up stops being an emergency.
A few things I had to solve:
⏰ It has to actually ring. On iOS it's built on AlarmKit, so it fires at the exact time even with the app closed or the phone on silent — a normal notification wouldn't be trustworthy enough to be your only alarm.
🌍 The cold-start problem: an app that needs a friend is useless on day one. So there's Global Voices — real recordings from users around the world, matched by time of day and tag. You can be woken by a stranger in Tokyo or London until your own people join.
🙏 You can ask for the voice you need: "I really can't be late tomorrow — be firm with me."
Free, on iOS and Android, in 12 languages. Solo build.
Curious: whose voice would you actually want to wake up to?
