Hello Hunters and Makers,👋 I am Clément and made the Money Bin App 🤑 to solve in the first place my wife's problems with Expense Tracking Apps. Therefore, we are 2 behind this app, my wife, Julja, and I. We've been tracking our expenses for 2 years while traveling the world 🌍, and even more this year as we got married this September 🥰. The way the app has been built helps us answer the following questions: - Show me in Euro €, how much we've spent in Mango sticky rice 🥭🍚 while being in Thailand 🇹🇭 in the last 3 months? - Show me in Euro €, how much we've spent daily, in Accommodation 🛌 in South America since we arrived in Peru? We have also added all the features an Expense Tracking App must include in our opinion: 📅 Different type of expenses: - one-time expense ( ice cream) - periodically ( insurance ) - spread over days ( hotel bill over 5 days ) 💱No need to find my local currency: Based on your current location while using the app, we detect the current currency, therefore no need to look for it, just add the amount and we display it to you into 2 currency, yours, the one you are used to, and the one you are currently doing your expenses with. 🌍 Trip automatically created: You get 2 kinds of trips: - *Monthly* ones which are created automatically every month - *Travel Trip* which is created automatically based on your location. You arrive in Colombia on June 25th, we create a trip and update the "end date" until you cross the border to Peru, and then create a new trip to Peru. The currency will be automatically updated based on the country 🙀. 📊Simple graphs, showing only what you need: - Daily average per Category per Trip - % spent per Category per Trip - % spent per label within a Category per Trip 💰Budget: Create multiple budgets: - *Monthly* budget which will be repeated every month - *Travel Trip* budget, set one budget for Colombia and one for Peru. The cost of living is often different. 🔌 99% Offline: - GPS will find your coordinates and we convert them offline to find your current location, from that we create your trips, give you the correct currency when you are adding an expense. - You can switch currency whenever you want to, the conversion is done offline with a 1-week up-to-date rate. - All your data are stored offline, we won't know that you are eating an ice cream a day. 1% Online - 0.5% of your Internet will be needed at first launch to get up-to-date today's rates, which, by the way, get updated every Monday and the app will download them as soon as the internet is available. - 0.5% of your Internet will also be used to get the categories and labels at first launch we have created with my wife. 🎨 Customize : The app comes with a bundle of categories and labels, you are welcome to create your own ones, name, emoji, color, let us know which one you've created we might want to add it to ours 🤗 ☁️ Backup: Backup your expenses into your iCloud, therefore do not lose them. 📱📱Together: You can track your expenses using different devices with the same iCloud account, you will need to export them once in a while to be up-to-date. 😀 What is coming next? So much of course!! The following list is not ordered per priority, your needs are ou priority, so please let us know what you need ASAP: 1/ if the app goes well, I will learn and make you a nice Android app. 2/ notification system to let you know how your budget goes 3/ set multiple profiles to a trip, that way you can filter out expenses, let's say your partner drinks beer every day, you might not want to add it to yourself and can keep a proper budget. 4/ auto backup on iCloud 5/ CSV export 💌 We have a list of promo code, send me a message and I will provide you with one. The app offers 15 add of expenses for free, then you will have to pay to unlock the Scrooge McDuck power and add as many expenses as you want you... but with that promo code you won't have to!
