Hey, my name is Enes Grahovac! I started Molla a month ago as a passion project. I was solving my own problem, which is that I get distracted when I'm working on the internet. I started with solving distractions on YouTube because the thumbnails and clickbait easily distracted me. I tried the traditional site blockers, but they were too rigid. They blocked videos altogether, even if a video was relevant to my task at hand. Molla uses AI to read a transcript and then intelligently decide if a video is distracting to my goals if I'm in focus mode.

@gregbarbosa I set goals around work topics, such as becoming a better engineer, and learning specific engineering and product topics. I also set it for personal topics such as becoming a better chef and to learn the piano. This helped me stay focused towards my 2024 goals because I get smart redirected from sports highlights videos, but I'm able to watch piano lesson and cooking lesson shows. It allows me to enjoy YouTube again without the regret of wasting time on videos that weren't positive to what matters most to me.
