My inspiration came from a simple observation: while there are countless "daily" Telegram channels sharing news, memes and general science content, none offered a structured, daily dive into individual chemical compounds. I wanted to create something that felt like opening a new card every morning – a consistent, reliable dose of chemistry that would appeal to students, hobbyists and anyone with even a passing curiosity about the compounds that make up our world. The problem I was trying to solve was twofold. First, finding reliable, well-structured chemical information often means navigating PubChem or other scientific databases, which can be overwhelming for non-experts. Second, most chemistry content on social platforms is either scattered or simplified to the point of losing compound. I wanted to bridge that gap, to deliver authoritative, database-grade information in a format that feels approachable and digestible, without dumbing it down. My approach evolved significantly as I built the project. Initially, I considered manually curating each post, but quickly realised that wasn't sustainable for a daily channel. That led me to write scripts to filter and extract clean data from PubChem automatically. The real turning point came when I started thinking about the AI summary feature. What began as a purely automated data pipeline transformed into something more thoughtful, into a project that could potentially serve two audiences: those who want the raw chemical facts and those who benefit from a plain‑language nudge to understand why a compound matters. I have not add an AI, as it is very risky decision, but I am considering this option if I had enough feedback. In the future, I am considering making polls on advancements in the channel when there will be enough people.

Fixed the description length problem. Now, it won't exceed 1024 characters ever, so there will be no length errors in Telegram post caption.

I updated the script with adding a more restrictive description filter, so it doesn't fail to post when it is larger than Telegram media caption allows. Howe, looking retrospectively, I consider a better improvement in this area, as now, I am restricting by a specific number of characters, but I better check whether the description with all other fields together make < 1024 character.
