Hey there, I’m Abhishek, the maker of Modo.
Agents like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor write most of my code now. What I needed afterwards wasn’t another editor full of extensions and language servers. I needed a quick look to see what changed, read it comfortably, fix a line, and run a command.
What Modo does:
One scrollable diff of everything a branch changed since main (or any branch you pick), unified or side by side, with word-level changes
Follows along live while an agent is still editing files
Fuzzy file search, project-wide search, and a command palette
A real terminal with tabs, in the shell you choose
Markdown preview with Mermaid diagrams
Light, Dark, Paper, and Graphite themes
It’s a native app with no plugins, no language servers, and no background indexer, so it opens fast and stays out of the way. It’s free and MIT licensed, for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
I’d love to know, what’s the first thing you do when an agent finishes a task, and what slows you down?
That’s the problem I’m trying to get right.
