Mochiverse is a focus timer with a pixel creature living inside it. Start a session, put your phone down, and your Mochi grows. Its hunger, mood and health drain in real time — even while the app is closed. Finish sessions to earn coins, evolve your pet through 31 forms, and keep it alive. Neglect it, or quit a session early, and it gets sick. Let it starve and it's gone for good, into the Memorial Garden. It turns out nothing makes you come back tomorrow like a creature that needs you

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Mochiverse because every focus timer I tried was easy to ignore. A number counting down just doesn't create any stakes.
So I gave the timer a heartbeat: a tiny pixel pet that only survives if you actually focus. Miss your sessions and it gets hungry, sad, sick. Ignore it long enough and it dies — permanently. That one mechanic changed everything about how I use my own timer.
It's my first app, built solo. Everything runs on-device, no account, no ads, and it's free.
Would genuinely love your feedback — especially: is permanent death too harsh, or is that the point? 🥚

the persistence of hunger and mood drain even when the app is closed is such a sharp design choice, it really sells the idea that this thing is alive and depending on you.

@wyatt_zhong I'm glad you liked it.
