Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm Jorge Escobar, long time lurker and dreaming of this day! I have made a lil' baby I'm calling MiTrac.

Managing medical bills is overwhelming. I personally get like 50 per month and it's so easy to lose track of what's a duplicate, what has had an insurance payment what's been paid and what's still owed. Many people end up paying bills twice or missing legitimate charges that go to collections.

Every time I would go to the mailbox, I would get overwhelmed and would leave the envelopes unopened for months. I tried using Excel, Google Sheets and even ChatGPT, but nothing was really making it easier for me.

So as many good developers who have been let go from their jobs, I decided I wanted to make this tool for myself. It took me about 45 days but today for the first time ever I opened all those envelopes, scanned them and uploaded them to my own app. And it worked! I think I scanned 60 invoices in 15 minutes and the real number of bills was like 10. I finally know how much I really owe.
