Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the solo developer behind MisGasolineras.es and I wanted to share the story of why I built this. Fuel is one of the biggest fixed costs for Spanish households — between €1,200 and €2,000 a year for an average driver. The price difference between the most expensive and cheapest station in the same city can be up to 20 cents per litre. On a 50L tank, that's €10 every time you fill up — over €400 a year if you refuel weekly. The Spanish Ministry of Ecological Transition publishes official fuel prices for every station in the country through a public API. The data is there. But the official portal is slow, hard to navigate and not mobile-friendly. So I built MisGasolineras.es on top of that same official API: 11,000+ stations, all 52 provinces, 110+ brands, individual pages for every municipality in Spain — updated automatically every day. No crowdsourced prices, no estimates. Just the real official data, made fast and easy to browse. A few things I'm particularly proud of: → Covers small towns and villages that other tools completely ignore → Compares local prices against the national average so you know if your city is cheap or expensive → Zero sign-up, zero ads, zero cost — and I intend to keep it that way This is a side project I built nights and weekends.
