An interesting and fun experiment that will last for 1440 days. Here's the manifesto: "Social media was supposed to keep us in touch with our friends but has instead turned us all into unwitting monkeys filling out the world’s longest consumer survey. Facebook doesn’t want your money. It wants your time. minutiae is a response to our current moment: an anonymous anti-social media app that forces its users to document the in-between moments of life. Hi Filippo, Thanks for finding our project and apologize for the delayed response. Here's a longer explanation around the concept. Feel free to ask any questions How many times have you scrolled through your Instagram/FB/Snap feed only to see images of your childhood friend and his fiancé in front of the Eiffel Tower, or your mom posting inspirational quotes about the importance of family, or perhaps another well captured avocado toast in warm sun light? My guess, pretty often, it’s not that these moments are insincere, it’s just that they tend to make up 0.1% of our lives. So how about the remaining 99.9% of our lives, how do you get people to capture it? The answer, you send them one random alert per day to help them to capture whatever is going on there and then. Provide no opportunity to re-shot, edit, add stickers or any other crap, just that moment, nothing else. Now, in order to give users an incentive to document that moment regardless of how boring it might be, the app provides an intimate peek of another random participants timeline for 60 seconds.
