100% Private, Local-First utilities for modern developers. No cloud, no accounts, just power. A strict "Anti-SaaS" desktop suite. CapSize for fixed-dimension screenshots, SmartClip for offline clipboard privacy and text transforms, and HexStack for WCAG color auditing. Buy once, own forever.

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Monica, the solo builder behind Mint Logic.
I’ll be honest right up front: I don’t have a background in software engineering. A year ago, I didn't know the first thing about building an app. But I had a specific, annoying problem at my day job that was driving me crazy: I needed to take dozens of screenshots at the exact same dimensions (specifically 730x270), and every tool I found forced me to manually drag a box every single time. It was a massive waste of my day. I just needed a simple utility that stayed at a fixed size so I decided to try my hand at building my own.
I didn't set out to start a company; I just needed a solution. With a lot of help from Gemini and a "hobby year" of iterating, that tiny utility grew into a full suite of three helpful tools that I call the Mint Logic Pro Suite.
I built these for my own desk first:
CapSize: The app that started it all. It locks to the exact dimensions you need for screenshots. You can also drop perfect editable vector shapes, arrows and text directly into your captures. I even managed to get local OCR working so it can extract text straight from the image. For those that might not need precise dimensions every time, it also has a regular fullscreen capture mode.
SmartClip: I originally just wanted a simple way to save my clippings so I could reuse them as often as I needed. Later, to make it useful for developers, I added the ability to transform copied strings into clean URL-slugs or camelCase to help with coding. It also masks your API keys and passwords to prevent shoulder-surfing during screen shares.
HexStack: Honestly, I just wanted a quick way to grab the exact hex code of a color I liked on my screen. Once I got that working, I added a built-in WCAG accessibility matrix to check contrast ratios and a color mixer to make adjustments on the fly.
Why I’m doing this differently:
I’m exhausted by software that makes you pay rent. Mint Logic follows what I call the "No Man's Sky" model: you buy it once, you own it outright, and every future update is free, forever.
Strictly Local-First: No accounts, no cloud syncing, and Zero Usage Telemetry. Your data and your clipboard never leave your machine.
Hacker Magic Licensing: I felt there had to be a better way than copying and pasting long key codes into a box, so I built a system where you unlock Pro features by dragging a cryptographic .mint key file directly into the UI. The app makes a single ping to an Upstash database just to validate the seat upon activation, and then goes completely 'dark.' No persistent heartbeat checks, no background processes, and it runs flawlessly offline. It’s fast, secure, and honestly- it's just fun and feels like magic.
I may be a "non-developer" who used AI as a power-tool, but I’ve spent months ensuring the backend is secure- using HMAC signatures and timing-safe equality- and that the apps are professional-grade. In a weird way, the suite even built itself; I used all three of these tools to help build the suite.
I'm looking for my first 100 early adopters to help me prove there is still a market for software you can actually own. To celebrate the launch, I’m offering a 'Founder Series' lifetime license for $29. Once those first 100 seats are gone, the suite will move to its permanent price of $39.
🎁 Exclusive for PH: If you only need one of the tools, use code MINTPH20 for 20% off any individual Pro app! (Expires Friday).

I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve ever felt like the "standard" tools were missing the exact feature you needed to get your work done!
Cheers,
Monica
