1. Why I built Minim
As a programmer who loves writing, I found myself constantly copying content into ChatGPT just to rewrite a sentence, fix grammar, or explore better phrasing. It broke my flow. I wanted a way to write freely and call on AI exactly when needed, with minimal friction. That’s why I built Minim — an AI-powered writing editor that feels like a notepad but with superpowers.
2. What’s unique about Minim
Minim has a "Command Mode" that’s like muscle memory: press c to correct, r to rewrite, Tab to complete, p for custom prompt. The AI suggestions stream inline, not in a chat box, and you can accept them with Enter. No switching tabs, no prompts to craft. It's designed to keep you in the zone.
3. What I’m most proud of
Minim is not trying to be a maximalist document editor. It's fast, lightweight, and respectful of your writing voice. I’m especially proud of the smooth, real-time suggestion system — it feels invisible until the moment you need it. That’s how AI writing tools should work.
