@jpdavidpeters Glad you like it :)

Hi nice one! 💪 Two comments: 1) It's a bit hard to read because the fields are not square. Maybe you can remove the top padding of the field to make it a square? 2) The winning is a bit unsatisfiying, because you can not mark the last bomb. You only get the small banner in the upper right corner and the game "freezes". Best regards :)

@nclskfm Thanks for the feedback! Which fields do you mean exactly? As for winning, as far as I can tell it's consistent with the original Minesweeper, which was my intention, but I get what you mean. :)

@dandago The cells are not squares, but rectangles. You have a relatively large free space above the individual checkboxes (i.e. where I can click). That's why the picture is distorted. The places I mean I marked red, maybe you can remove them. https://ibb.co/cxjmZrd

@nclskfm Yes, now I understand what you mean. I'm aware of this issue, and it's particularly evident at higher resolutions. It's a tricky bug with some of the React Material components I'm using and I haven't yet managed to fix it.

@dansiepen Thanks :)

I've written a handful of Minesweeper clones over the years, usually as learning exercises. I built this one using React. Play it online (desktop or mobile) for free here: https://www.gigi.nullneuron.net/... It's open source, and you'll find both the source code and instructions on how to play the game at its Bitbucket homepage: https://bitbucket.org/dandago/mi... And if you want to check out the earlier Minesweeper clones I created since 2004, check out The Minesweeper Legacy: https://gigi.nullneuron.net/comp...
