Hi Product Hunt! I'm Daniel, the maker of Mine Garage.
I've been a mobile developer since 2015: first Android with Java, then iOS with Swift. I have a degree in Systems Analysis and Development and a postgraduate degree in Information Security, I've shipped more than 20 apps for the companies I've worked at, and today I'm a tech lead at a healthtech, where I own their Flutter app.
Mine Garage started with a problem of my own: I wanted a proper way to log and keep track of maintenance on my vehicles, and none of the apps I tried did what I needed. So I built it.
Today it logs every service, fill-up or charge and expense for gas, hybrid and electric cars, reminds you before maintenance and documents are due, and shows what your car really costs per mile. A few things I'm proud of:
- an AI assistant for maintenance questions
- an OBD2 reader for fault codes and live engine data
- shared vehicles, so the whole family logs in one place
- income tracking for rideshare and delivery drivers
- a web portal to see everything on a bigger screen
It's free on iOS and Android and available in 12 languages.
My goal is to make Mine Garage the best vehicle app out there, and to grow it into everything around your vehicle: from a simple maintenance log to buying and selling it, connected to parts suppliers, mechanics, detailing and cleaning services.
