Hey Product Hunt! I'm Taras, the maker of MILD 👋
I live alone and love to cook, but I kept hitting the same wall: a fridge full of food and no idea what to make from it. The very first version of MILD was simple: take a photo of a product, see the calories.
Over two years the idea changed several times, and the focus moved one step earlier, to the label itself. Tiny print, or a language you can't read at all. So today MILD does four things: scan, translate, compare, cook.
→ Scan product after product: point the camera at barcodes one after another. Each one lands in your list with ingredients, allergens, nutrition and a clear 0–100 score based on Nutri-Score
→ Translate any label: ingredients, allergens and nutrition in your own language, 18 languages. No more guessing in the aisle in Tokyo, Seoul or Berlin
→ Compare: put two or more products side by side, calories, protein, fat, carbs, sugar, salt, fiber and saturated fat per 100 g. MILD marks the winner, so you know what goes in the cart
→ Know what you eat: set your diet and allergies once (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free and more) and MILD keeps them in mind. Every scan is saved by day in your history
→ Add what you have: snap a photo of your fridge or groceries and MILD recognizes the ingredients, or scan, speak, or pick from a list
→ Cook from it: 2,000+ chef-reviewed recipes, every one under 1 hour and under 10 ingredients. Nothing fits? AI creates a recipe from what you've got
→ Step-by-step cooking mode with timers on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Anything missing goes straight to your shopping list
Real data, not guesses: product info comes from a database of 4M+ products. MILD translates the label, it never makes the facts up.
