Dear fellow makers & hunters, In this modern age, we have numerous options to find the information we need about pretty much anything. But learning something new is still a process where you need to find the dedicated time and spend hours understanding the concepts. During the lockdown period, I thought of a learning experience where a large subject is broken down into self-contained content of 500 or fewer characters crafted using rich formatting & images. Users should be able to read and skim through the content and also deep dive by freezing an interesting topic or subject. For eg: Imagine being able to learn the different aspects of photography by simply swiping up and when you see an interesting subject, follow dedicated topics on that. This concept got converted into microideation. Microideation is a platform for discovering and learning content that is crafted by subject-matter-experts in different areas. The objective is to provide a quick and concise explanation of topics in less than 500 characters. These entries are referred to as "ideations" and users can view content by simple swipe gestures. Topics are tagged under the specific subject and category. Users can freeze an interesting topic/subject to follow ideations under them. The app also learns the favourites content and recommendations based on that. The platform also requires ideators ( content creators or subject-matter-experts with good knowledge) on the field to break down a complex subject into digestible ideations. I am having a programming background and the content currently on the platform is related to tech and programming languages. But ideations can be applied to any category of content such as hobbies, academic subjects, competitive exams, etc. The app does not require any mandatory registration. You can just "Continue as guest" and check out the content.
