But I grew deeply frustrated with the compromises we are forced to make. We constantly have to choose between the flexibility of Electron-based editors (which eat up RAM and drain the battery) or the raw performance of Xcode (which can feel bulky and less adaptable for modern workflows). I wanted a third option. So, I decided to build it myself. Enter MicroCode ⚡️ MicroCode is Thailand’s first native macOS IDE built to challenge the giants.
