Mia Chat is a private, cross-platform messenger with an AI assistant (Mia) built in — not bolted on. Mia transcribes your voice notes, summarizes chats you missed, and turns a plain sentence into a planned task. It's still a real messenger: DMs & groups, HD 1:1 calls, group meetings, a planner, and a built-in VPN with privacy controls. Runs on Web, Windows, iOS (live on the App Store) and Android. 9 languages. Free to start, no ads.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Maks, the maker of Mia Chat.
I got tired of my day being split across five apps — a messenger for talking, a separate app for calls, another for meetings, a to-do app, and yet another tab for an AI assistant. So I built one place where
they actually work together.
What Mia Chat is: a private, cross-platform messenger with an AI assistant (Mia) built into it.
The part I'm most proud of is that Mia isn't a bolted-on chatbot — it's woven into the messenger:
🎙️ Send a voice note → get it transcribed (read instead of listen)
🧠 Missed 200 messages → ask Mia for a summary
✅ Type or say "call the dentist tomorrow at 3" → it becomes a planned task
💬 Draft, brainstorm, explain, plan — right where you already talk
And it's still a real messenger under all that: DMs & groups, HD 1:1 calls, group meetings, a planner, a built-in VPN, and privacy controls (hide last seen, control read receipts) — in 9 languages.
It runs everywhere: Web, Windows desktop, iOS (live on the App Store), and Android. There's a genuinely usable free tier, and paid plans (€14.99 / €39.99) — no ads, ever, and it's EU-based.
I'd love your honest feedback — especially where Mia is genuinely useful vs. where it gets in the way. I'm here all day answering everything. 🙌

Would love to see end-to-end encrypted backups for chat history, since you already ship with a VPN and privacy controls. Right now if I switch phones I either lose my conversations or have to trust a cloud copy that isn't covered by the same encryption story you market.

@toprak4irg Great point, Toprak — and a small clarification: your regular chats aren't lost when you switch phones. Sign in on the new device and your history syncs over automatically. Secret chats are the exception: they're end-to-end encrypted and live only on your device, so by design they don't follow you — that's the tradeoff E2E brings everywhere. An encrypted transfer/export for those is a really fair ask though, and it's the kind of thing we'd love to build. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! 🙏

@n_yalc14858 Thanks Turgay, really appreciate that! 🙌 We spent a lot of time getting voice notes right, so this is great to hear. Anything else you'd love to see in Mia?
