Minute-by-minute precipitation, refreshed every ten minutes, anywhere on Earth. Meteosource is a global weather API for solo builders to enterprise: 40+ global and regional models blended with machine learning, then AI-adjusted for local accuracy. Free to Enterprise plans, a Renewables tier for solar and wind, and 20 years of historical data.

Hey Hunters, did you check the weather today? ☀️
I'm Petra, part of the small team behind Meteosource. I read every message we get from users, and it's great to see what people build with our weather data.
We made this because reliable forecasts shouldn't require an enterprise contract, just an API call.
If you want to try the full set of features, we've prepared a code: HUNT-30 gives you 30 days of our Standard subscription, redeemable until the end of 2026. If you'd like to try the Renewables tier, drop a comment and we'll be happy to give you a trial too.
And please: comments, suggestions, feature requests, all of it helps. Looking forward to any message or question :)
Hi Hunters! I look after the data side of Meteosource.
We've been doing weather since 2007 and running this API since 2021. Today that's 20,000+ clients in 140+ countries and around 30 million requests a day, mostly in energy, agriculture, logistics and insurance. This is the first time we've actually launched on Product Hunt.
Two things I'd add from the data side:
"Blending 40+ models" means each model is weighted by how it has actually performed at your location. Real-time nowcasting sits on top. The goal is the most accurate forecast we can produce for that exact spot, because no single model is best everywhere. And "exact spot" is meant literally: the forecast resolves down to a few hundred metres, which is what "hyperlocal" in our tagline stands for.
For PV and wind assets we forecast power output directly (hourly or 15-minute), not just irradiance and wind speed.
Don't take my word for any of this - grab a free key (no card needed), run it next to whatever you use today for a week, and compare. The launch code for the Standard plan is in Petrichor's comment.
If you want to talk models, verification, or which data actually fits your use case, I'm here all day. So - what are you building, and what weather data have you struggled to find?
