Hi Product Hunt! I’m Shari, the developer behind Metal Ball Maze Toy 3D.
I made this because I was nostalgic for those little metal ball tilt maze toys that seemed to be everywhere as party favors in the 90s. I wanted to recreate that same tactile feel on a phone, but without being limited to one physical maze.
The result is a 3D tilt maze toy with billions of possible layouts, different board shapes and difficulty levels, plus lots of visual customizations. Each run is timed, so you can play to beat your best time or compare scores with others. My favorite addition is probably the glowing wall option, which obviously wasn’t possible with the original plastic toys.
It’s available on iOS and Android, and I’d genuinely love to hear what people think, especially whether it brings back that same nostalgic feeling for anyone else.
