I have been building several side projects for years, and I wanted to build and distribute a tool that I would personally use. Cybersecurity is something I am passionate about, and reducing your digital footprint is a concept that I believe will become popular in the coming years with the rise of AI. Metadata is not understood by the general public, but malicious actors love it. Some metadata is identifiable (think GPS coordinates, author names, emails, phone numbers), and others are generic (file size, date of creation).
