Hey everyone! Super excited to be launching MessageGPT on ProductHunt today! This is my first product launch here :) With MessageGPT you can text ChatGPT directly from your favourite messaging app. No need to open any browser windows or login into OpenAI. The bots are based on ChatGPT 3.5 (version 4 unfortunately still has API limits). - You don't need an API Key. The bot just works in your messaging app. - You can add as many phone numbers as you like (however, please note 1 subscription = 1 chat account); - All text and code formatting works perfectly; - The bot is also privacy focused. We won't store your messages if the context has changed or past 4 hours. - I also offer very friendly support :) In the future, my plan is to expand the functionality with the following: - A web version which will be synced to all your devices; - A Mac menubar app for even easier access to GPT; - Addition of advanced settings from the API (i.e. temperature); - Ability to send images and for ChatGPT to give you context based on those images; - Ability to send voice notes; You can use code 💥 LAUNCH 💥 to get 20% off the subscription! At the moment, these are the primary differences: - We are not requiring you to bring your own API key (whereas some tools are); - All text formatting (i.e. if you ask it to write code) works; - We only store messages that you send for the current context, so if the context changes all messages data that's irrelevant will be deleted. In the future, I'm planning to add the following: - Desktop version in the browser (already in the works); - Mac menu bar extension (already in the works); - Sync between all versions of the app; - ChatGPT API settings (i.e. temperature and others); - Ability to send images; - Ability to send native voice notes;

@modernafflatus Thank you 🙏🏻 Tons of updates planned and coming very soon. One of my personal favourite ones is a menu bar app for the Mac have super easy access on your computer and a web interface with extra settings :) Love using it for recipes. You can ask how to make something, it'll give you a list, and you can then forward that message to someone who's at the shop, so that they can buy the ingredients. Also, anything related to explanations of stuff I don't know. Instead of Googling, it gives you a 2-3 paragraph answer. So much more convenient.
