Reviewers see Meshy as a fast, easy 3D generation tool that fits well into game and indie workflows, with repeated praise for texture quality, UI, text-to-3D, image-to-3D, retexturing, rigging, and animation support. Several say recent updates notably improved mesh quality and overall output. The main caveats are still about consistency: some users report bugs in 2D-to-3D, weaker text generation, topology and prompt coherence issues, and pose handling that can complicate rigging. A maker of LayerGen AI also credits Meshy’s API quality and reliable STL exports.
easy to use (3)versatile tool (2)text-to-3D (5)easy rigging and animations (3)excellent texturing (4)
Thanks to its high-quality, great tools, texturing, rigging, and animation capabilities, this tool can accomplish what used to take weeks to accomplish using traditional methods in just one minute.
What needs improvement
I have no doubt that they are hard at work on the low-poly new beta model, the only thing that could be improved. However, low-poly varieties can offer superior quality. As things stand, there is a great deal of space for development. Although I do concede that it is still in beta, I am certain that both the official release and the final product of this new mode will be absolutely phenomenal. Absolutely first-rate, without a doubt.
vs Alternatives
I will not name the other tools I have used, but MESHY is simply the best in its field in terms of output and results. Specifically for the Pro Plan, which I am using, it is easy, fast, and comes with a respectable number of credits.
My current go-to for AI 3D model generation tool. The latest Meshy 4 generations have been a huge leap in terms of quality for both text and image to 3D. Plus I've already got lots of value out of the easy biped/quadruped rigging and walking animation option. Also, it's great to see the texturing improvements and the ability to retexture or fix textured sections (via the text-to-3d approach).
A really well-rounded platform that provides lots of really useful output. Of course there are areas that can be improved, with better topology, model editing options, prompt coherence etc... but it's the best I've used to date. Amazing work.

This is the best 3D model platform i have ever used, and trust me i have test many, meshy is my go to when ever i need a model, though i tell hope they work more on 2D to 3D for little bugs it has, i recommend this platform to anyone, looking to create a model, whether from text, images or 2D meshy is for you
What needs improvement
model generation with different components, like model faces
