Good morning, Product Hunt!
Today I'm announcing MeroFoundry as a platform for your agent to build and publish your next app. I really enjoy building with AI, but I do feel the need to know what it's doing, and that is one of the main reasons I built MeroFoundry. You can watch the database models being created and edited, the pages changing, and all the other features below. In case you missed anything, every change is written to the audit log, so you can see what changed, who changed it, and when. The full demo, a small site and a form, runs under 7 minutes. You can watch it at
. The demo shows GPT and we also test with Claude, GLM, Gemini, and Qwen (3.8).How it works:
Sign up at https://merofoundry.com, tell your agent to connect to the streaming MCP server at https://platform.merofoundry.com/mcp, authorize it, and then give it your first prompt. If you're in the platform on a browser, you'll see a "follow-along" toggle. Toggle it on, and as your agent is building the site, the platform takes you to whatever it is working on and highlight the changes as they happen. Be sure to tell it to publish the site and give you the URL when it's complete. When your agent does that, click on the link and visit your creation.
Demos:
WorkGetsDone - a rewrite of a never-finished CRM I started in 2007. Rebuilt on the platform and used to test out numerous features including BYOF, auth, and its own MCP server. Demo site is at https://workgetsdone.staging.merofoundry.app/ (hosted in staging because we reset the data every hour)
Juniper Workshop - the site from the video that's made in under 7 minutes. https://juniper-workshop-demo-1.merofoundry.app/ The repo is at https://github.com/merofoundry/juniper-workshop.
All of our public sites are hosted on MeroFoundry. So are our internal tools (Kanban board, CRM). We <3 dogfooding! https://docs.merofoundry.app/ https://meroconsulting.com/ https://merofoundry.com/
Features:
Database:
Models - where you design your tables
Relationships - how your models connect to each other
Saved Queries - store your queries for more efficient data access and manipulation
UI:
Pages
Forms
Composites - groups of controls saved together for reuse across pages, such as headers and footers
BYOF - Bring Your Own Front-end - this allows you to upload any SPA and connect it to the app's data, rules, and auth. Store the code in GitHub so you can automate your front-end deployments.
API:
Services - the app's configured API endpoints, both inbound and outbound
Webhooks - HTTP events being sent to or received from other systems
Business Logic:
Rules - an event fires, conditions are checked, and an action runs when they match. Rules can be chained for more complex scenarios
Phases - the timing of when a rule runs, examples include pre_save, response, and background
Events - what happened, for example record changes, frontend events, received webhooks, and login
Actions - data reads and writes, response control, flow control and calling web services. Actions carry the calling user's identity, so access policies are enforced.
Custom Functions - upload custom TypeScript functions to run in a WASM sandbox
Auth:
Access Policies - define access and authentication for every model, form, and page.
Saved Queries and Services - set each one to anonymous or authenticated access
Identity Model - define your user record layout
API Keys - create application-level API keys for integrating legacy apps, scoped to only the permissions needed.
SSO - single sign-on through providers like Google.
Miscellaneous:
Jobs - schedule actions on a timer for background processing
Notifications - store string templates for email and AI prompts for outgoing webhooks.
Application MCP Server - give your app its own MCP server, tied to your app's authentication, so a user's agent gets secure access to their own data.
Pricing: Free tier - every feature enabled, no card required, no AI or build credits to count. Paid tiers start at $15/mo for more capacity.
