@modalmaster thanks, that's exactly the reaction I was hoping for — and the reason I built the routes layer instead of stopping at dots on a sphere. The "take for granted" part is what got me too. Hormuz is sitting at 11 transits/day right now, down 89% against its own 1-year baseline, and outside of shipping almost nobody notices until it shows up in a price weeks later. Which chokepoint did you end up looking at? And was anything missing — I'd rather build what people actually check than what I assume they want.
