Hey PH, If you haven't read it already, David Burn's Feeling Good, is a fantastic book to help you diagnose and improve your mood. In the book, he has a test that he asks you to take, which gives you a score for the severity of your depression. Whenever I fall into a gloomy mood, I often start logging my score, to see both the severity, and how it's changing. To make it easier, turned it into an app on hacking weekend. It's very simple, and only does one thing. However, may add more features down the road (already have a desire to log "negative thoughts", and rebuttals to them)
