I built Memory Jar because I believe we often forget how beautiful our ordinary days really are.

We take hundreds of photos, celebrate special occasions, spend time with people we love, and experience countless little moments. But as time passes, many of those memories slowly get buried in our camera rolls and daily routines.

I started wondering: What if there was a special place where we could preserve those moments and revisit them on a meaningful day?

That's how Memory Jar was born.

I wanted to create something more than another notes application — an emotional experience where people could write their happiest memories, fold them into little virtual paper chits, and place them inside a beautiful 3D glass jar.

And on their birthday, they could open that jar and rediscover the moments that made their year special.

I brought this idea to life using React, Three.js, GSAP, IndexedDB, Node.js and other web technologies, with Google Antigravity helping me throughout the development journey.

For me, this project is a reminder that technology doesn't always have to solve complicated problems. Sometimes, it can simply help us appreciate the beautiful moments we already have.

Because today's ordinary moments might become tomorrow's favourite memories. ❤️
