Learn any text by heart as the words disappear

Paste a poem, a speech or your lines, or pick one from the library. Memorizun hides the words step by step, from first letters to dashes, until you can recite from memory. Then say it out loud and the voice check marks where you slipped. Actors can hide only their own lines. Teachers can assign a text to a class, and students join by link with no accounts. Works in the browser, on iOS and Android, and as a Chrome extension. Free to try, no sign-up.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Yura, a product designer, and I built Memorizun.
It started when my daughter had to memorize poems for school. I saw a post about blacking out words on paper with a marker. It worked much better than rereading, so I turned it into an app.
Paste any text or pick one from the library. The words disappear in steps (every other word turns into its first letter, then every word, then only dashes remain), and you recite from memory. At the last step you can say it out loud, and the voice check shows where you slipped.
People use it for poems for school (including Poetry Out Loud), monologues and scenes where you hide only your own lines, speeches and Bible verses. Teachers can assign a text to a class: students join by link with no accounts, and the teacher sees who has started and who has submitted.
It runs in the browser, on iOS and Android, and there's a Chrome extension that hides the words right on a poem's page.
I'm one person, so I read every comment. What's something you've had to learn by heart?
