Very cool and I thought about it already a million times. Unfortunately it doesn't work with claude Cowork, right? Because it's a chrome extension only. Any chance to turn this into a Claude extension?
what if i delete my entire chat conversation on chatgpt, gemini and claude? will memdex still retain its memory? if i use temporary chat all the time, will it memdex build memory from those temporary chats?
The idea of memory is extremely helpful. I use many AIs, yet heavy on Claude. instead of copying and pasting prompts or ask it to summarize it then paste it in a different AI, phew!!! this alone is brilliant "you open a fresh Claude window and it already knows your project".
this is actually a pretty interesting idea. I keep losing chats and answers I wish I had saved, so the local memory angle makes a lot of sense. I also like that it stays on-device instead of making me worry about everything being uploaded somewhere.
