Hello! I sell physical products on Etsy and as my shop grew I kept struggling with keeping on top of production flow, timing, inventory etc. Etsy provides the marketplace but it doesn’t do much to help manage what needs to be made, track materials, or understand how to price items to be profitable. I ended up using several separate utilities and spreadsheets for my production queue, inventory, material costs and pricing. Eventually, I decided it may be useful for others with the same kind of Etsy shop and production challenges. I build Meldsy to combine all the utilities I had been using an a user-friendly UI. The key features are: A production queue for Etsy orders Customizable production stages Customizable packing slips, thank you messages and shipping label pdfs Material and inventory tracking Material, packaging and production costs connected to listings Estimated profit margins after relevant costs and Etsy fees It’s still early, and I’m mainly trying to gauge whether other sellers have the same problems. If you sell on Etsy, I’d love to find a few beta users who are willing to try it and give some honest feedback.
