Hi everyone! I am excited to share Meetline, a dating app designed for public transport commuters. The idea is simple: transform your daily commute into an opportunity to meet like-minded people.

The idea for Meetline actually came to me 11 years ago, at a time I used to spend hours every week in public transport, doing nothing but watching people scroll their phones. I kept thinking: there is a better way to use this time.

Fast forward to 2023, I finally decided to build it with a friend. Since then, every evening and weekend has gone into bringing this idea to life. After a year of solid development, I am proud to say that Meetline is now live on both the Play Store and App Store.

💡 How does it work?

It relies on a smart compatibility algorithm identifying people with similar routes, timings, and interests, making interactions feel natural and low-pressure.

Your live location is never tracked: instead, your itinerary is transformed into a compatibility score, keeping your privacy fully protected.

Whether it’s the metro, bus, tram, or train - if you’re on the move, Meetline is working behind the scenes to connect you.
