I wanted a simple way to automatically transfer the photos I take on my phone directly to my computer.

I didn't want another cloud subscription, another account, or another service holding copies of my personal photos.

I just wanted to take a picture and have it safely appear on my own computer, without having to think about it.

I looked for solutions, but I couldn't find one that offered exactly the experience I wanted: simple, automatic, private, and with no middleman.

So I decided to build it myself.

MediaShoot is the result.

My philosophy is simple: your photos are yours. You should be able to keep them on your own devices, in your own folders, without depending on someone else's cloud.

It's an independent project, built to solve a problem I personally wanted solved. Hopefully, other people will find it useful too.
