Excellent app to catalog media of any type, whether it be video, audio, or images. Developer is constantly adding new features based on user suggestions/requests in a very timely fashion. I like the app's ability to handle different metadata to tag media with. Privacy concerns are addressed accordingly: app does not resort to interactions with outside AI sources for its information gathering to verify data stored on a customer's local storage and the app is thankfully localized to user's network only. App's integration with media servers such as Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin is a plus. Started with MediaChips back when it was in its Beta stages, and watched it grow to its current version with anticipation.

While MediaChips is a great, functional product, the documentation for the app needs to be addressed and made for basic users to be able to understand. While the documentation in app is helpful, a full comprehensive guide is needed so that user does not have to rely on seeking information for questions elsewhere.

MediaChips is an affordable app that shows continual updates based on customer interactions and what they would like to see in app. Developer interacts with customers in timely fashion.
