How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

Astra allowed us to move beyond a basic health-record app and build a more ambitious AI layer around a person’s entire medical history. It helped us turn scattered reports into a structured health timeline, analyze changes across records, power contextual health conversations, and connect these capabilities into a usable product much faster than we could have built manually.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Rodney, one of the makers of MeddybookAI. We started building MeddybookAI after experiencing a problem that felt surprisingly common: when a doctor asks for your medical history, finding the right report can become a hunt through paper files, WhatsApp chats, old emails and different hospitals. We wanted to build something where your health history stays with you — not with a particular hospital.
