MealPix is a visual food diary for healthier habits without calorie counting. Snap meals, tag them Healthy / So-so / Unhealthy, and your week becomes a clear timeline you can understand fast. Widgets remind you to log, keep your streak, and show what’s left in Mini Challenges (e.g., fewer than 3 unhealthy desserts per week, veggies at least 5 times). Analytics spots patterns like: “Your weekday lunches are 42% unhealthier than your other meals.” Using the 80/20 rule:mostly healthy, some for joy.

Hey everyone I’m Patrik, the maker of MealPix 👋
I started building this because every time I tried calorie tracking, I quit after about a week. Measuring everything is a hassle, and even AI calorie trackers can be off by a huge margin — so I ended up with effort, friction, and numbers I didn’t trust.
What I actually wanted was awareness: “What am I really eating?” and “What patterns keep repeating?” without turning food into math.
So MealPix is a photo-first food diary: snap your meals, tag them and your week becomes a simple timeline. Then analytics surfaces patterns (like weekday lunches being the problem), and Mini Challenges + widgets help you stay consistent without overthinking.
I’ve been working on it for the past year, iterating a ton on the simplest possible flow that people will actually stick to.
If you try it, I’d love feedback on:
1. Is the weekly timeline instantly clear?
2. Which Mini Challenge would you want first?
3. What’s the one feature that would make you open it daily?
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
