I built this after the same thing kept happening to me while studying: halfway through a long ChatGPT session, I'd hit the free limit or the chat would get too long and slow. I had a free Claude and Gemini account sitting right there, but moving over meant explaining everything again from scratch.

mcosec.ai is a free Chrome extension that moves your chat to another AI, or to a fresh chat, in three clicks:

Open your chat on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and press Read this chat.
It compacts the conversation on your device. Your questions, the latest answers and every line of code stay; the "Sure, great question!" filler goes. A typical chat drops from about 1,775 tokens to about 800.
Pick where to continue. The new AI opens with the chat already in the message box, and you press Send.

What I cared about most:

Private: your chat is read only when you press the button, and compacting happens inside your browser. Nothing goes to my servers, because there aren't any.
No account: no sign-up, no ads and no tracking in the extension.
Works after you hit the limit: it reads the page, not the AI, so it still works when the AI has stopped answering.

It works in Chrome, Edge and Brave on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS.
