GST-correct, multi-currency invoicing for Indian freelancers. Bill India in ₹ and clients worldwide in USD/EUR/GBP, and raise invoices right inside Claude.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Jeel, solo founder of Mavoin.
Every quarter I did the same dance: raise a GST invoice for an Indian
client, then a USD invoice for a US client, then figure out — again —
whether I'd worded the LUT declaration right, whether the zero-rated
supply line was correct, and what exchange rate to record.
The tools that do both cost ₹1,800–6,000/month and are full accounting
suites. I don't need ledgers. I need invoices that don't get me a
notice.
So I built Mavoin.
What it does:
- GST invoices with correct HSN/SAC, place of supply, CGST/SGST/IGST
- Export invoices in USD/EUR/GBP with LUT + zero-rated declarations
- Dual-currency display (USD 1,200.00 ≈ ₹1,00,140)
- Clean PDF, mark paid, see what's outstanding
- ₹199/mo. 30-day trial, no card.
And one thing I haven't seen elsewhere: Mavoin ships an MCP server. Connect
it to Claude or Cursor and say "invoice Acme $1,200 for June retainer" —
the invoice gets created in your account. Invoicing without opening the app.
What it deliberately does NOT do:
Expenses, ledgers, P&L, inventory, payroll. It's an invoicing tool. If you
need a full accounting suite, Zoho Books is genuinely good — go use it.
What I'd love from you:
1. If you're an Indian freelancer billing abroad — does the export invoice
output match what your CA would accept? That's the answer I most want.
2. If you're technical — try the MCP connector and tell me where it breaks.
3. Tell me what's missing that would actually stop you paying.
I'm here all day. Ask me anything, including the uncomfortable stuff.
