A nutrition label is a legal document. MATRICE builds your recipe, generates the FDA 2016 label live, and audits every claim - low fat, high protein, healthy - against the actual rules in 21 CFR Subpart D, with a 9-allergen radar. Free, no signup.

Hi Product Hunt โ I'm Mahmud, a Nutrition & Food Engineering student, and I build the food-science tools I wish existed in my coursework.
MATRICE started with a frustration: nutrition labels are legal documents, but most people make them like paperwork. The % Daily Value math happens in a spreadsheet, and claims get checked from memory โ "low sodium" guessed at 150 mg when the legal limit is 140 mg. Those errors surface after the packaging is printed.
So I built the checker:
โ Build a recipe from 15 ingredients or 4 presets, set a serving size, and the FDA 2016 label generates live
โ Every claim โ protein, fiber, sodium, fat, sugars โ audited against the actual rule (21 CFR ยงยง101.54, 101.60, 101.61, 101.62), with a verdict and the reason
โ Disqualifying nutrients under ยง101.13(h) get flagged โ the check that quietly kills a "healthy" claim
โ FASTER Act radar across all 9 major allergens, plus Atwater calorie split and net carbs, live as you work
โ Export the label as a high-res PNG or JPG
No account, no server โ it's a single HTML file and your recipe never leaves your browser.
Free offer for launch day: drop a claim you want to make on your product ("high protein", "low fat", anything) in the comments, and I'll run it through MATRICE and reply with the verdict and the exact rule behind it.
