Following a rush of celebrities and VCs offering to match donations to the ACLU this week, I found myself wanting to maximize my own donation. I wished to share my receipts with these matchers, but mining Twitter to find active donation matchers was not easy. I wanted to change this. Enter matchUS. We have paired over $540,000 in donation matches since January 30. Users drop their donation receipts onto our page, and we automatically vet and share these receipts with a list of donation matchers. Our matcher list is regularly updated to ensure that we only forward receipts to donors who have not hit their match caps. In direct response to recent events, matchUS currently supports donations to the ACLU. Right now, a sea of individuals and organizations are willing and able to match donor contributions.
