I built MatchTheJob because I was a broke college student trying to apply to jobs.
Tailoring my resume to every job description manually was exhausting. The tools that could help were charging $49/month, which made no sense. If I could afford that, I probably wouldn’t be job hunting in the first place.
Worse, a lot of them felt like thin AI wrappers with inflated promises.
So I built MatchTheJob.
Not to maximize subscriptions, but to actually help people like me get past ATS systems and land interviews.
Simple, affordable, and focused on what actually matters.
