Hi Finys! Congratulations on the launch! Is the indexing of meetups exclusive to ones created within the app? Do you have plans on any sort of scraping? In my experience, good meetups can be hard to find because they're posted in some random Facebook group or forum, so it'd be truly helpful if Marshmallow could help me find those!

Right now, the indexing of meetups on Marshmallow is exclusive to events created within the app. We’re really focused on building a tight-knit community by ensuring that all events are crafted with our platform's unique social experience in mind. As for scraping events from external sources like Facebook groups or forums, we did not dig into it because it can raise significant legal concerns, particularly around intellectual property and data usage rights. @gdbroman

@viktor_surkov Yes, before we launched, we tested tons of similar Apps and summarized their defects, and we provides much detailed profile, UIUX, collaborations channels with communities, etc. We improved & created our functionalities *10 times better than others.

@finys_cai Tech can never single handedly be your differentiator, someone with tons of money will come and hire developers in mass and wipe you guys out because tech is easily copyable, you guys have done a good job so far no doubt but if this (uiux, detailed profiles, etc, etc) is your differentiator then you have a lot more to work upon

Interesting concept but how does the AI handle privacy and security, I mean, people are gonna be hesitant about giving personal info away, will there be options for folks who are wary of sharing too much or maybe a way to join events without jumping through hoops, also does the AI ever get things wrong and match wrong people, curious how frequent that might be
