Markedfile adds an invisible mark, unique to each recipient, to your images, PDFs and videos. If a copy leaks, even as a cropped screenshot, upload it and see whose copy it was, with a confidence score. Free plan, no card needed.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Slate, the founder of Markedfile, so full disclosure: this is my product.
I built it because at my other companies we needed a way to mark files before sharing them, like PDFs and photos sent for identity verification, so we could tell which copy went where. I couldn't find a platform that did this, so I built it, and figured it might help other companies and people too.
Markedfile gives each recipient their own copy with an invisible mark. When something shows up where it shouldn't, you upload it (the file, or even a cropped screenshot) and Markedfile tells you whose copy it most likely came from, with a confidence score. In our demo, a cropped screenshot came back at 82%, a forwarded PDF at 99%, and a single screenshotted video frame at 78%.
What's free: the Free plan needs no card and lets you mark and detect images and PDFs. Pro adds unlimited files, and Business adds a shared team workspace, video and an API.
For the Product Hunt community: code PRODUCTHUNT gives 50% off your first 3 months on Starter, Pro or Business plans → markedfile.com/pricing?promo=PRODUCTHUNT
Honest limits: it's not magic. Very small crops (roughly under 256 px of detail) may not be detected, and we show a confidence score instead of promising certainty.
I'd love your feedback: where did it confuse you, what broke, and which file types or workflows you'd want next. I'll be here all day answering.
