Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Hadi, the builder behind Marina. The idea for Marina came from something very personal: watching how many smart, capable people around me were struggling silently with overwhelming thoughts, relationship confusion, and emotional pressure, but had no easy way to talk things through in the moment they needed it. Traditional options are often expensive, hard to schedule, or simply unavailable when your mind is racing at 2am. And journaling or generic chat tools didn’t feel like enough. I wanted to create something that could meet people right in that moment and help them slow down, gain clarity, and make sense of what they’re feeling. While building Marina, the process evolved a lot. It started as a simple conversational assistant, but quickly became clear that continuity mattered. People didn’t just want to “chat”, they wanted to feel understood over time. So Marina now remembers past sessions, creates summaries, tracks context, and uses structured guidance inspired by CBT principles to make each conversation more useful and personal. This launch is still early, but seeing people use Marina to talk through real situations, relationships, life decisions, stress, and self-growth, has been incredibly motivating.
