mapv.io turns real places, routes, bookings and timing constraints into a day-by-day itinerary you can actually follow. Plan on an interactive map, compare route options, keep reservations tied to the right day, and catch timing conflicts before they become trip-day problems. Practical tools help while you travel, with AI assisting where useful instead of taking over the plan.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built mapv.io because I got tired of how fragmented trip planning still is. I’d have Maps open for places and routes, booking sites for reservations, notes for timings, and then an AI itinerary that looked good until you actually checked whether the day was possible.
The original idea was much more AI-heavy. While building it, I realized the useful part wasn’t having AI invent a trip for you. It was having one place where real places, routes, travel times, bookings and fixed reservations could all be checked against each other.
So mapv.io gradually became a practical trip planner first, with AI as an assistant rather than the product itself. It can help build and adjust the plan, but the map, timings, warnings, reservations and trip-day tools stay grounded in the actual itinerary.
It’s free to use, and I’d really appreciate feedback — especially from people who normally plan trips across Maps, notes, spreadsheets and booking apps. I’d love to hear what still feels cumbersome, confusing or missing.
