Malaysia Linguistics Lab is an interactive project exploring four Malaysian minority and Indigenous languages: Bidayuh, Mah Meri, Kadazan-Dusun, and Iban. It combines language learning, a World Explorer, dictionary, quizzes, learning paths, heritage, language comparison, achievements, and an AI Tutor. What began as a simple website gradually grew through continuous testing, design improvements, and trial and error.

I started Malaysia Linguistics Lab while preparing for the Malaysian Linguistics Olympiad. During that process, I became more interested in linguistics and in Malaysia's own linguistic diversity.
The project currently focuses on four Malaysian minority and Indigenous languages: Bidayuh, Mah Meri, Kadazan-Dusun, and Iban.
At first, I only planned to build a simple website. But as I kept working on it, I became much more particular about the quality of the experience. That led me to build the World Explorer, learning paths, dictionary, quizzes, heritage features, language comparison, achievements, and an AI Tutor.
The realistic Earth, star-filled environment, flight animation, and production deployment also took a lot of trial and error. I had to keep testing, fixing things, and refining the experience until I was happy with it.
I'm sharing it here because I would really like to hear what people think. Which part of the experience stands out to you, and what would you improve?
