Makely: Makely is the UK marketplace for handmade things

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Timo, the maker of Makely.

My brother and I run a small 3D printing business, and selling online always felt like a trade-off: big marketplaces full of mass-produced stock, listing fees, and commission on every sale. So I built Makely, a UK marketplace just for handmade.

For makers: free to list, no seller commission, and a prepaid tracked shipping label for every sale. Snap a photo and Makely suggests the category, material and parcel size for you.

For buyers: everything is handmade, every purchase is protected, and 1% of our profits goes to Turquoise Mountain, supporting traditional artisans.

We’re also giving our first 50 makers Founding Maker perks, including fee-free sales for their buyers.
