Hi Product Hunt, I’m Nil, maker of Makeform.
I built Makeform because creating a form still feels weirdly manual.
Most of the time, you already know what you want to collect. But traditional form builders make you translate that intent into fields, labels, validation, logic, design, and pages. It is a lot of clicking before you get to the actual form.
Makeform starts from a plain-English prompt.
Describe the form, survey, quiz, or payment flow you need, and Makeform generates a working version with the right fields, structure, validation, and design. Then you can refine it in chat or edit everything manually.
Examples:
- “Create a Product Hunt launch feedback survey with ratings, feature interest, pricing feedback, and email capture”
- “Build a lead capture form that asks different follow-up questions based on company size”
- “Make a scored quiz that shows different endings based on the result”
- “Create a quiz where users who score 80 or higher are redirected to my booking page”
The point is not AI for the sake of AI. The point is that form building should start with intent, not a blank canvas.
The free plan includes unlimited forms and submissions, so PH folks can try it without a credit card.
I’d love feedback on two things:
1. What kind of form would you expect Makeform to generate perfectly?
2. What would make this useful enough to replace your current form builder?
I’ll be here all day reading and replying. Brutally useful feedback is very welcome.
