I had a PST file that had grown too large and Outlook was becoming slow. I used Mailvita Split PST for Mac to split it into smaller files, and the process was much easier than I expected. All my folders and emails were preserved correctly after splitting.
What needs improvement
The interface is straightforward, but a progress indicator with more details during processing would be helpful for large PST files.
vs Alternatives
Before buying the software, I tried looking for a manual solution and also checked a couple of other PST management tools. I chose Mailvita because it seemed easier to use on my Mac.
